Prince Naif wins UNWRA’s Distinguished Donor Prize
Riyadh, Dec 15, 2009, SPA -- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinians in the Near East has awarded its prize of Distinguished Donor to UNRWA, to Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Premier, and Minister of Interior, who has overseen Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques campaign to relief Palestinian People in Gaza, as the first world personality to win it, in appreciation of his contributions to humanitarian efforts.
Ms. Karen Abu Zeid, Commissioner General for UNRWA, will hand the prize to Prince Naif here on Saturday, Sa"eid Al-Orabi Al-Harthi advisor to the Second Premier, said.
